Cool AI, but could be faster

I decided to try the Personal AI Model to get some fantasy AI portraits. The quality of the images it produced was genuinely impressive, really detailed and captured the style well. Uploading the photos was easy enough, but training the model took a bit longer than I expected, probably a full day. I know it's a complex process, but a quicker turnaround would be nice. The high resolution upscaling feature was a great touch, though. Overall, a positive experience, but that waiting period could use some optimization.

Consistently good AI art

I've used ImagineMe a few times now, mainly for the text-to-image generation and AI portraits. This last time I got the annual subscription plan and it felt like the same reliable service I've come to expect. The quality of the images is always consistent, and I appreciate that. They've always delivered what they promised, which is why I keep coming back for more AI art styles. Shipping isn't a thing here, but the model training was quick.

Good value for avatars

I was looking for some cool AI avatars and stumbled on ImagineMe. I picked up a credit pack during a holiday sale, which gave me a decent amount of credits for my money. The process was straightforward, and I felt like I got a good deal on the custom AI avatars I generated. Totally worth the purchase for my profile pictures.

Are there any current promo codes or deals going on for new users or for buying credit packs?

A Anna Okafor 1 month ago
Sometimes you can find referral codes from influencers that give you bonus credits or a small discount. Check YouTube or Twitter.

Not always a direct 'promo code' but definitely look for referral links. I got like 10% off my first credit pack through one last month.

Can I trust them with my photos? I'm always a bit wary about uploading a ton of personal pictures to a new service.

A Alex 3 weeks ago
They say your data is safe and they don't store your original photos after the model is trained, afaik. You can also delete your model later.

Yeah, I think they have a policy where they don't keep your raw photos permanently. Plus, you can delete your AI model if you're done with it.

How many photos do they need to train the AI model? Just a few selfies or do I need to dig deep into my camera roll?

S Sam 1 month ago
You need a decent amount, like 10-20 different ones. Different angles, expressions, lighting helps a lot to get good results.

Don't just upload like, three. The more variety you give it, the better it learns your face. I usually go for about 15-20 shots.

Anyone know if you can use the images you make for like, profile pictures for your business or something? Or is it just for personal fun?

K Kate Silva 1 month ago
I'm pretty sure you can. I've seen people use them on their LinkedIn and stuff. It's usually fine for commercial, just check their terms if you're super worried.

Yep, they let you. I used some for my Etsy shop banner and it was totally fine. No issues at all.

Hey, thinking about trying this out. How long does it usually take for them to train the model once I upload my pics? I'm impatient lol.

A Anna Beaumont 1 month ago
Mine took like, 30 minutes to an hour I think? Not super long if you're just chillin' while it works.

G Greg 1 month ago
Yeah, it's pretty quick. I uploaded a bunch and it was done before I even finished making coffee. Definitely faster than some other ones I've tried.

Are there any student discounts for this service? I'm on a pretty tight budget but really wanna try the AI headshots.

W Wendy R. 1 month ago
I haven't seen any specific student discounts listed, unfortunately. Your best bet might be to look for referral codes or first-time user promos.

T Todd 1 month ago
Nah, I don't think they do student deals. I usually just wait for a holiday sale or try to find a credit pack discount code online.

Does anyone know if ImagineMe is better than Lensa AI? I've used Lensa before but open to trying something new if this is better.

W Wendy 1 month ago
I've used both and honestly, ImagineMe gives slightly more realistic results for me, especially with the headshots. Lensa can be a bit hit or miss.

ImagineMe is definitely up there, some styles are better than Lensa. Worth trying if you're looking for something different. The art styles here are really cool.

What's their refund policy like if I buy credits and then don't like the images, or just change my mind?

N Nick Reyes 1 month ago
I don't think they do refunds on credits once you've bought them, since it's a digital service. You'd probably have to use them up.
4
R Ryan 1 month ago
Once you buy credits, they're usually final sale. Most places like this don't refund digital purchases unless there's a technical issue on their end.
